Orientation

Hey y'all! I think I'm going to start talking like a southerner after being here for 4 weeks.

Well, I'm all checked in, got the orientation, took the tour, unpacked in my condo, met my room-mate Kelleen, and had my first meal which was very good! I met my room-mate on the shuttle bus here and we hit it off right away. We high fived each other when we found out we were going to be room-mates. We seem to have a lot in common. She is from Indiana so she is excited for the Superbowl next weekend. She also loves reality TV! YAY! Our shuttle driver was hungry, as we were, so he took us to a place called "Squat & Gobble" for lunch. I had Shrimp and Grits! It was pretty good, and I finally got to taste grits.

Everyone I've met, from the staff to the other guests, are super nice. A lot of my fears were erased after an hour here. It's everything I hoped it would be and more. I haven't actually done anything yet, besides the orientation and dinner, but the exercise rooms, pool and everything look great. I have lots of literature reading to do tonight then I'm going to plan tomorrows activities and get to bed early. Not much to post yet, but I'm doing well and I'm excited to start first thing tomorrow!
